Re-emerge and discover your path

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” -Paulo Coelho

Hello!  It’s been too long.  I’ve missed writing my blog and connecting with you, and am happy to be back out of my hiatus to share my musings with you all!  What a trip we are all on in the world right now, eh?  Back in March, after I purposely went on hiatus in February to think, dream and create new ways to support you, I was excited to announce an upcoming weekend retreat.  Well, since we have pretty much shut down around the world I needed to reimagine what that would look like.  So instead of announcing it and cancelling it I’ve decided to let you know it’s coming in 2021.  Yes, in spring 2021 I will be offering a full weekend retreat in a beautiful location perfect for a weekend getaway. The intent of the retreat will be revival and renewal to refocus your life.  This will be a yoga-inspired retreat filled with gentle movement, journaling, meditation, community building, hiking and opportunities for you to re-emerge with clear intention.  Stay tuned as later this calendar year I’ll be talking more about it.

I am focusing on the concept of re-emergence in this blog.  What is triggered for you when you think of the word re-emergence?

When I think of re-emergence I imagine spring with all the new, yet familiar smells and vibrant colors popping up all around, as well as a sense that the world is birthing all over again the seeds that we’ve planted and sowed since the fall and growing into something new.  To re-emerge is to come out, step out and open up to newness.  I use the word metaphorically to imagine what newness I’d like to support in my life; what I’d like to become again or anew.  If I can’t be in nature physically and mentally experiencing the smells, sights and sounds to stimulate my thoughts, I close my eyes and visualize what newness I’d like to see.  What I can envision is a destination…an outcome…a result.  A new idea of who I want to become.  Staying in my imagining state I can begin to identify steps that I might want to take to create my re-emergence path.  The steps might be small but no matter how small, they are monumental because they create momentum for my journey.  I believe in what Paulo Cohelo says in the quote above.  As I imagine, plan, and create a path of what I want for myself I know I will begin to attract the things in my life that will make me that person.

Try it…take a moment to imagine re-emergence for you, where you want to be or what you want to do or who you want to be.  Write down the first thing that comes to your mind.  Now, take that thought and use it as a stepping stone to discover your path forward.   No matter how small the step you will begin to feel the momentum…and that my friend is the key to reaching your desired destination.

Would love it if you’d share what you come up with.

Even with our shelter-in-place orders, I’m open for business!  I offer my coaching and yoga virtually and many of you have taken advantage of it; I thank you so much.  By the way, if you haven’t visited my yoga channel on YouTube yet please do…here.  It’s donation based and has about 6 classes so far.  Subscribe to it and you’ll be the first to know when I add more classes!
